Cold Form Steel Structure exposed to Cyclones by Kantish Chaurpagar India has been hit by a number of cyclones since ages. However, 9 cyclones (Phyan-2009, Nilam-2012, Helen-2013, Phailin-2013, Hudhud-2014, Vardah-2016. Ockhi-2017, Fani-2019 and Amphan-2020) have proved to be the most dangerous, causing devastating destruction across the affected region occur in Bay of Bengal. A number of structural and non-structural measures can be adopted for effective management of cyclones. The structural measures include construction of cyclone resistant building, thus special attention towards awareness generation and disaster risk management and capacity building of all Cold form steel manufacture and related stakeholders....
