   Step 1


Create a wall or walls for a beam

Step 2


Click the beam icon then click the beam icon on the tool bar
that will pop up 

                OR


Click Draw>Beam>Draw a Beam


The properties menu will pop up, change settings
according to specifications

Step 3


Click on the exact point which the beam should be placed


Then click to the next point


The beam will be drawn
